Rural development of poultry education

The aim of the project is to develop a modular programme for 4 mid-level applied education students and first two-year bachelor students such as animal caretakers, veterinary professionals and technicians. These modules will be interesting for students who are interest but not related with the poultry. The educational curriculum will be developed in cooperation with Aeres University of Applied Sciences and several middle-level applied education institutions. The advantages of the educational curriculum are:

  • More attention of in depth technical content (on farm level)
  • Better meet the needs of the poultry business (quantitative and qualitative)
  • More support for a rural poultry programme
  • Positive cooperation with mid-level and higher education
